-Sporting a brand new, & slightly lower fuel tank. (with an added .25 gallon capacity over OEM) A more streamlined cockpit is achieved, making it easier for the rider to position themselves forward when digging into a berm or rut.
 
-Up front, a modern European radiator shroud styling brings the YZ's into the modern era of two strokes. The new shrouds lay over the fuel tank, rather than bolting to it at the halfway point.
 
-Unique touches: Faux carbon fiber graces the airbox sides and upper radiator shrouds for a high-end look.
